Feature: U.S. 40 Diner

This diner in Plainfield, Indiana is now closed and currently on Indiana's endangered list.  It was once known as the Oasis in the 1950s when it first opened.  The front part of the diner is a metallic trailer accented with red and blue stripes.  The interior is pink and burgundy with barstools and small booths.

The interior photos were taken through the windows of the building.  I wish I could say I've been inside.  It's sad that Indiana will lose another piece of history.
