Feature: Five Points Fire Station

The Five Points Fire Station sits on the corner of a confusing little intersection in Lafayette, Indiana.  This fire house has been converted into a museum and has been restored to look like it did in 1937.  Inside, one can find an original fire truck, historic articles, and firefighter uniforms.

It looks incredible.  The reds are so vibrant.  I'm quite fond of the Dalmatian - pig dressed in uniform.

I'd like to add that this was my first "official" visit to Lafayette.  I saw so many wonderful things (some of which have already been featured).  I'm impressed that this town has retained so much of its history.  I think too many places destroy old buildings.  What will be left for future generations to see?
