Currently, Kevin and I are making due with furniture from our college years and hand me downs from family. I know a lot of people who live the same way. We really need storage space or cabinets and drawers to hide things in. Those sort of things can be pricey and/or hard to find. Plastic storage drawers are affordable and practical. They're not terribly attractive, though.
I needed something for our diner room, and my (soon to be) sister-in-law had given me some plastic drawers. They worked, but I didn't like that I could see everything in the drawer. So, I grabbed some of my wood contact paper, measured the front of the drawers, cut the paper, and taped it to the inside of the drawer. I chose the wood look, because of the wood finish on the chairs in the room.
You could draw pictures or use photos and tape them to the inside of clear drawers. If you use the frosted window contact paper, you can just peel and stick the paper.
