DIY Headphone Art

When I heard that Dinosaur Jr was teaming up with Skullcandy to make a pair of limited edition headphones, I nearly lost my mind.  Those headphones had to be mine... until I saw the price tag ($225?!?!?!).

Well, you know what happened.  I made my own custom pair.

1.  You'll need a pair of large headphones, paint, brushes, scissors, sticker paper (or store bought stickers), and Mod Podge (optional).
2.  Start off by painting your headphones.  Allow to dry.  Or you may choose to leave them unpainted.
3.  Measure your headphones to make sure your sticker will fit in the space.  You may need to make adjustments for the cord.  You can either use purchased stickers or create your own and print them on sticker paper.  Cut out your stickers and apply to each earpiece.
4.  (Optional) Coat the paint/sticker area with a thin layer of Mod Podge to seal the artwork.

I would love to see your versions of this project.
